Localized Termite Treatments

Localized Spot Treatments for Drywood Termites – Santa Clara & San Mateo Counties

Localized spot termite treatments are a specialized form of termite treatment that focuses on specific areas of drywood termite infestation. First our expert team performs a termite inspection to determine the infested areas and whether a spot treatment is sufficient. Our experts then apply a liquid termiticide to eradicate the termite infestation.

In the United States alone, termites cause over $5 billion in damage every year.

To protect your home from this growing threat, contact us for an inspection and to learn more about localized spot treatments.

Localized Spot Treatment Process

  1. We identify the infested or vulnerable areas throughout your home or property during a termite inspection.
  2. We’ll review the results with you, including treatment options, pros/cons, and alternatives to spot treatments, mainly fumigation.
  3. We’ll then select the best treatment for you. With a localized treatment, we’ll typically utilize Termidor® Foam, an industry-leading and trusted name in termite treatments.
  4. Our expert team will inject the treatment material into small holes drilled throughout the affected areas.
  5. You then enjoy a termite-free home, with no need to vacate

More Details of Termidor® Termite Control Products

Termidor is the most popular termite defense supplier in the United States. Over 6 million homes around the country have already been treated using their products.

Termidor is a liquid that creates a non-repellent treatment in soil and structures to eradicate subterranean and drywood termites. The substance is undetectable to all termites, making it an especially effective protection method.

For our localized spot treatments, we use Termidor Foam Termiticide, an injectable foam that we administer on infested wood after drywood termites have been detected. In some cases, we also use Bora-Care® to treat termites and protect affected wood from future infestations.

For more information about Termidor and Termidor Foam, here are the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and the Product Information Sheet. There you can find important safety measures, regulatory information, and both physical and chemical descriptions of Termidor products.

Our Localized Treatment Guarantee

Localized spot treatments are an effective method to treat and create a lasting defense against drywood termites.

With our treatment, your home will be drywood termite-free for 1 year, guaranteed.

In most cases, the warranty can be extended. After the treatment, your home will automatically be covered. If a new termite infestation is suspected, call us to schedule a new inspection and treatment. Many of our competitors only offer a 1-year warranty.

With localized treatments, we also include a check-up inspection toward the end of the warranty period that can be renewed on an annual basis. Our check-up includes many hard-to-reach areas, such as the foundation or basement. If there are any signs of new termite infestation we’ll take care of it. Guaranteed.

Localized Spot Treatment Alternatives

Drywood Termites

For houses with only one or two areas of potential infestation from drywood termites, localized spot treatments are the simpler and less invasive alternative to whole-house fumigation. However, for extreme cases, whole-house fumigation is an effective treatment against even the worst of infestations. If there are multiple areas of infestation preventing the application of localized treatments, then fumigation should be considered as it is far more thorough at eradicating drywood termites in hard-to-reach areas.

Subterranean Termites

Localized spot treatments are not a suitable treatment method for subterranean termites. Instead, we offer effective soil injection treatments to treat these termites.

Each person was professional, timely and educated me. They were very careful about my light carpet without my asking. They even thanked me several times for leaving the evidence where and as I'd found it so that they knew where to start with their inspection and treatment. I will definitely call them again for any future termite problems in any residence I have.
